 Hello My Name Is...

Mr. Bayless

I have been teaching for 9 years in the Mount Pleasant School District and work with Special Olympics of Northern California. I have a Multiple Subject and Special Education credential from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and San Jose State respectively. In my spare time I enjoy playing recreational sports(soccer golf, baseball, softball), cycling, running, hiking, camping, playing drums, and any other outdoor activity. I love to watch my favorite sports teams(Go Earthquakes!, Go Sharks!, Go A's!, Go Warriors!) when their sport is in season.
In my summer months off, I have traveled to many places all over the world. My first traveling experience outside of the United States was to Southeast Asia(Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam) for 25 days. Other places I have traveled to include Mexico, parts of Europe, and "Ring of Fire" island of Bali for my honeymoon. I recently traveled to Brazil for the FIFA World Cup. We were lucky enough to see Germany vs. France play at the famous Estudio de Maracana in Rio de Janiero. Traveling the world has made the person who I am today and want to share these many new experiences with my students. Lastly, I have the most amazing dogs in world! Their names are Sadie and Bowie. They are both Australian Shepherds.
